Custom Silk Palm Trees and Bamboo

These custom plantings of tall, sleek silk bamboo were recently installed in the Huntington Hospital Breast Center, located in Pasadena, CA.

This reception area has a clean, contemporary design, with sections of walls of beautiful horizontal laid grey stone.

The vertical lines of the custom Bamboo plantings are a perfect complement to the overall design of the space. The planter fill of decorative grey river rock is the perfect finishing touch.

The challenge was a very shallow planter depth. Make Be-Leaves’ solution: constructing sturdy, rectangular wood planter bases to secure the bamboo plantings - keeping the depth below the front planter wall height, allowing space for decorative rock top fill.
