Make Be-Leaves just shipped off a completely full 53 ft. truck container full of silk trees and silk plants– headed for the new multi-million dollar Vocus headquarters located in Maryland, just north of Washington D.C. This was a very exciting project!

The design concept blends modern architecture with a small town experience. It even includes a literal street—an Americana-infused “Main Street”—that runs through the spacious 93,000 square feet of office space, complete with different facades and stores including a record store, school house and spa.

Make Be-Leaves worked closely with James Bruno, project manager at Vocus, and Lou Gauci of OTJ Architects to create the exciting and colorful custom silk plantscape design.

Silk plantscaping included custom silk Apple Trees, custom silk Camellia Leaf Trees, silk Yellow Birch Trees, silk Willow Trees, variety of colorful silk flowering plantings and planters,silk flowering hanging baskets, and custom wall trellises with silk hoya plantings.

A variety of styles and finishes of fiberglass planters were selected to coordinate with colors and styles throughout the spaces.
