Atria Senior Living Palm Desert

The most recent Atria Senior Living project was installed in Palm Desert.

Purchasing contacted Make Be-Leaves with this challenge: to create a beautiful, focal planting of tall palms and base plantings in their main public area – while working with a very tight budget.

The design specifications included a cluster of 12 ft. to 14 ft. tall Palm Trees, with base plantings of grasses and colorful bromeliads.

While custom built trees have always been our signature line, using a variety of types of woods to create the most life-like looking specimen trees, the client’s limited budget required a great “value engineered” solution: Make Be-Leaves utilized pre-made silk palm trees with natural bark trunks, customizing the heights and providing custom steel plates to secure these palms to the planter floor.

The end result: an impressive plantscape within the client’s budget!
